The P1 Jetcross action saw the Poret family dominate the Pro Ski JX1 class with Morgan, Jeremy and Mickaël filling the top three positions, it's a repetition of last year podium but with a different order. Morgan Poret, the official IPD/Bullett Racing rider, put on a fantastic start, maintaining high speed with impeccable composure as he steered his craft to two victories. His brothers weren’t too far behind, with the trio riding the Bullett V3 with great success before to change all to the new Bullett V4 for the upcoming race in Basse-Ham.
But Morgan Poret should get a strong contender in the person of Raphael Maurin. Despite, a DNF in Moto 1 for a technical problem for the young French with an impressive come back from the 7th place at first lap, up to the victory in the final Moto of the weekend… With any doubt let’s have an eye on Maurin on the next race to the P1 Jetcross Grand Prix of Europe in Basse-Ham, the 25-26 May near the Luxembourg border on the River Moselle!
In the Pro-Am Ski Vet JX1 (over 35) race, Christophe Calmels took one race win out on his Bullett V2 craft modified by Jet Concept. Frenchman Philippe Achard reaches second overall won the first Moto and finished behind Calmels on the second Moto, with Mickael Traclet rounding out the top three.
The Pro-Am Ski JX2 races saw Wilfried Gurnot from France, former 2018 Am Ski Champion, wrap up the weekend in fine form, who won the first Moto and finished on the 3rd place for the final Moto.
In second place overall was Remy Demichelis and Damien Andre finished third.
In the Pro-Am Ski JX4 category, the top three was made up of Frenchmen Benjamin Scharff, Florian Fontan, Clement Perez, after the DQ for non-attending to the prize giving ceremony applied to Wilfried Gurnot, despite his victory on both Motos.
In the Am Ski JX3 Dylan Lucht on his Yamaha Superjet, Andrea Schena, Jeremy Rathoin took the podium, with an impressive line-up of 29 riders.
The Am Ski JX3 Ladies races saw Jennifer Menard dominate on her Yamaha Superjet, making up a total of 128 points over her race weekend. Kawasaki SXR 800 rider Estelle Poret wasn’t too far behind, with 2 points and former Am Ski Ladies Champion Lou Dardillat ended up further back on 19 points after scored 2/3/3.
Another very impressive line-up in the Pro-Am Sport JX4 class with 23 riders, including 3 ladies, and it's Theo Thiercelin who took first place overall, with Romain De Jesus and Laurent Escrig from France getting their seasons off to a strong start, while Elliot Cable on the Yamaha EXR won the Yamaha EX/EXR Cup following by newcomer Lorensa Masson. In the Pro-Am Sport Ladies, the first victory for Julie Roucayrol following by 2018 Champion Melody Lattes and Lorensa Masson.
For the P1 Jetcross Tour’s next stop will be in Basse-Ham on 24-25 May 2019, after the seashore of the Mediterranean sea, let’s see who will take the crown of the victory in the beautiful Nautic Ham harbour on the river Moselle.
